About Us Established in the year 1984 The Engineering
Services, a renowned designer and consultancy, has its registered office
at Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Ever since its inception, the Company has progressed with a
view to work in the field of Gas Producer Plant and vertical shaft Lime
Kiln. Apart from the Gas Producer Plants and Lime Kiln, we were
also engaged in the fabrication of chemicals, pharmaceuticals,
petrochemical plants and equipment lines, pressure vessels, heat
exchangers, distillation columns, process pipelines and allied
equipments.
While working in
the field of single stage Gas Producers, which were associated with
many problems, we gradually went into the designing,,
fabrication and erection of Extended Shaft 100% Top off take, Rotary
Grate Gas Producer Plants. Owing to its unique feature of pre
distillation of feed coal in its deep coal bed in the extended Shaft,
while moving downwards to the reduction and oxidation zone counter
current to the upward flow of product gas which strips off the
considerable quantity of volatile matter form the incoming feed stock
making it semi coke and highly reactive for a faster gasification.

Quality
The Oil, natural
gas, raw coal, LPG firing could have been an ideal source of energy if only the oil prices had been within the range that was prevailing in sixties and
earlier. But from mid seventies onwards, due to global energy crisis,
the prices of various petro fuels jumped up by leaps and bounds and the
oil intensive industries in the country are now in a total jeopardy
with respect to erosion of their profitability.
With sky-rocketing prices we have no
alternative but to change over to cheaper fuel based on coal which is
abundantly available in the country. Here comes the
recent generation technology of gas producer which could provide a
consistent gas supply at a much higher calorific value (1500 to
1650 Kcal/Nm3 as against a C.V of only 1150 to 1250
Kcal/Nm3 from old single stage design). Simultaneously the product gas also becomes enriched with
the volatile matter of coal to a higher calorific value. Thus designed very carefully these machineries have each and every detail taken care of precisely. the idea is to provide the best products in the best possible designs and perfection. Engineering

- Feed Stock:
Any grade of Indian coal can be used for gasification in gas plants
designed by us.
- No
Maintenance Low Temp Gas: The temperature of the gas is 70 to 80 degree
Celsius, therefore, maintenance cost is negligible.
- No
Insulation: No insulation is required in gas lines, no chocking in the
gas lines.
- Re-Production:
Approximately 1.0 metric tonnes of tar is generated per day / per
gasifier as a by product, which could be sold at approximately Rs
20,222 PMT or may be used in furnace oil.
- Fuel Saving:
The cost of producer gas firing is one third the cost of oil firing
- Attractive
Pay Back: The payback period is below 4 months
- Hi Caloric
Value: The calorific value of gas is 1350-1650 K Cal/NM3
- Flare Temp:
The Flame temperature may be attained up to 1600 degree Celsius.
